Estate Planning

Estate Planning is more than simply a set of documents.  It involves the coordination of a client's entire financial picture with the client's personal wishes and legal needs.  Creating personalized and customized estate plans is at the core of our Estate Planning Practice.  We take the time to listen to the client's wishes, then develop an Estate Plan personally tailored for the client.  We blend estate tax saving, asset protection, and other planning techniques with the client's wishes to arrive at an effective and comprehensive Estate Plan.

As described in Our Story, our practice model is based on taking the time necessary to ensure every minute detail of our client's Estate Plan is addressed.  That includes coordinating asset ownership, planning for business succession, addressing tax considerations, and any other needs specific to the client.  We work closely with a client's Financial Advisor, Accountant, and other professional advisors to ensure a complete Estate Plan is implemented.

A representative list of documents prepared as part of an Estate Plan include:

  • Last Will and Testaments

  • Revocable Living Trusts

  • Financial Powers of Attorney

  • Advance Medical Directives

  • Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts

  • Marital Trusts

  • Bypass / Disclaimer Trusts

  • Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts

  • Beneficiary Designations

  • Business Succession Documents (ex. Buy/Sell Agreements)
